Endless Runner Series 

Zombie Run, Spirit Run and its multiplayer sequel are game runners, that leapfrogged a 30-million mark of downloads. The success of these games mostly results from good app store optimization. We made a number of experiments with App Icons and App Creatives to discover the alternatives with the highest performance. Owing to ASO, Zombie Run grew install rates up to 500k daily.

Fly THIS!

FlyTHIS is a captivating puzzle game, where a player is challenged to conduct planes using simple controls to avoid crashes. For this game, we performed ASO Audit and Keyword Optimization for several locales (RU as well).

Due to optimized store listing, the game became more visible, and consequently more popular among app store users. Even not being localized in the Russian language, it was featured several times in the Russian App Store and grew its organic rates considerably.

Magic Meadow

Magic Meadow is an amazing Match-3 game with stunning graphics and fascinating meta-game. ASO is extremely important for games developed and launched in a highly competitive niche, like casual games or match 3.

Reaching the top and not getting lost in a whirl of similar games is one of the most challenging tasks while you launch this kind of game. App Store Optimization is one of the most effective ways to draw more customers and increase organic rates in this case.

For Magic Meadow, we performed Full ASO Audit, including split-testing of App Icon and Screenshots, Keyword Optimization and developing a marketing strategy for further game promotion.

Animal Drop

Animal Drop is a Match-3 game, which features entertaining meta-game and marvelously crafted graphics. Game Promotional campaign, developed by ASOplay Team envisaged Full App Store Optimization along with building up a marketing strategy and Facebook Ads campaign.

We performed App Store Optimization for App Icon and Screenshots, subsequent A/B testing, which exposed the outperforming alternatives and Keyword Optimization that resulted in much higher rankings and greater visibility of an app.

Variation B got a +18% install uplift and Variation C a +21%. The team decided to apply Variation B despite having a lower increment after an icon competitor analysis with the confidence that Variation B have more chances to stand out and grab user’s attention.

Last Pirate: Survival Island

Last Pirate is a survival game that was firstly released in ….. Before launching the game, we split-tested different App Icon options, did Screenshot Optimization, A/B tested Feature Image for Google Play and did Keyword Research. 

Full App Optimization resulted in high rankings and great visibility of the game from the initial release.

Storm Wars CCG is one of our biggest projects.

For the game store listing we optimized and split-tested screenshots and App Icon as well as provided an overview of the effective marketing plan.

Our Design Team also created more than 350 astonishing Character Cards for Storm Wars on the basis of our Art Outsourcing Studio – RetroStyle Games.

5 updates where A/B tests in Icons, screenshots and featured graphics took place in both, iOS and Android.
